Are any of the No Nasties Kids products tested on animals?
At No Nasties Kids we love animals! We certainly do not test our products on animals and none of the suppliers of our lovely ingredients test on animals either.
Do we have to be careful when using the No Nasties Kids products?
Although No Nasties Kids is all natural, in the unlikely event of a negative reaction or irritation on the skin of your little one, please discontinue use immediately. We do recommend that you test a small amount of the products on a patch of skin prior to use. Our products are for external use only. Please avoid direct eye contact and if this does occur, rinse the eye in warm water immediately.
We also recommend our products for children over 4 years due to potential choking hazards of small containers and bits.

At slick kids we only use ingredients we know have the best "safety profile" and that is why our Hair Spray is free from the usual Ethanol Alcohol base (usually at least 90%).
We do have (Dehydroacetic Acid (and) Benzyl Alcohol) A synergistic blend of benzyl alcohol (constituent of many essential oils) and dehydroacetic acid (found in the flowers of the solandra species) as our gentle preservative system. Permitted by NATRUE as a 'nature-identical' preservative in ecological and organic certified cosmetics.

Most of our products are made in small batches in Tauwhare Village, New Zealand.
